Say Their Names

Ensuring that women murdered in 2025 will not be forgotten.

Say Their Names

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, Adriana Smith was finally removed from life support after having her baby delivered via C-section, after being kept on life support since February, 2025 in order to avoid running afoul of Georgia’s abortion ban, which prohibits abortions after the detection of fetal cardiac activity—as early as six weeks’ gestation. Adriana was almost nine weeks pregnant when she was declared brain-dead.

Adriana leaves behind a 7-year-old son, and the newborn, a boy named Chance.
